Sweet On Paper Contest - Pictastic
Entry #9
Inspired by the azaleas just beginning to bloom and the coming spring they signal, I created a flower-shaped treat box for my entry (able to hold most any small-sized treat). I created a pattern for 5 and 6-sided boxes using CAD and Illustrator, printed out the PDF on cardstock, cut out the box, and used a bone folder to shape the intricate folds; the only other materials I used were scrap pieces of crewel yarn (to lace the box together and make the stamens for the flowers) and buttons; (all treats were purchased).
